Senior Travel Deal Of The Week: 16-Day Morocco Adventure Drops From $4,295 To $995
The Californer/10357628

LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT) has just announced a dramatic last-minute price reduction on its 16-day Morocco Sahara Odyssey, with eight November departure dates now priced at just $995 per person, down from the original price of $4,295.

That's a savings of $3,300 per person — and a deal that caught the attention of senior travel expert Jesse Slome, the creator of Thrifty Senior Traveler.

"This is truly an incredible trip and an extraordinary offer," says Slome, who has traveled with OAT more than 20 times since his first OAT adventure in 2005. "Morocco is one of those destinations where the experiences are what make the trip memorable. You're not just checking places off a sightseeing list."

From Moroccan Markets To The Sahara Desert

The Morocco Sahara Odyssey is a 16-day adventure that takes travelers beyond the typical tourist experience.

The itinerary includes exploring colorful Moroccan markets and historic cities, experiencing local food and culture, traveling into the Sahara Desert and riding camels across the desert landscape. Travelers can also experience the extraordinary night skies of the Sahara, where the absence of city lights provides an opportunity to see thousands of stars.

For travelers who enjoy experiencing a destination through its food, culture and people — rather than simply visiting major tourist attractions — Morocco offers plenty of opportunities for memorable experiences.

And at the newly reduced price, Slome says, the trip deserves a closer look.

An Additional $100 Off For First-Time OAT Travelers

There is also an additional potential savings opportunity for people who have never traveled with OAT.

First-time OAT travelers can tell the company that they were referred by Jesse Slome, referral #932019, and receive a $100-per-person referral discount, subject to OAT's terms and eligibility requirements.

"If you do use my referral number, I'd really appreciate knowing," Slome says. "I love hearing from people who discovered a destination or took a trip because of something I shared."

Slome emphasizes that he does not sell travel and is not paid by OAT for promoting its trips. The Thrifty Senior Traveler website is his personal travel-information project, where he shares travel deals, reviews and money-saving ideas based on his own experiences.
