SAN DIEGO ~ In a recent announcement, Spectator Health, a senior living technology company based in San Diego, revealed that they have successfully integrated Surescripts' suite of e-prescribing capabilities into their platform. This integration will allow for real-time medication analytics and e-prescribing for caregivers and providers in senior living communities.
According to Raghu Sugavanam, CEO of Spectator Health, medication issues are one of the leading causes of hospitalizations, adverse events, and falls among seniors. With their proprietary platform, Spectator Health aims to reduce these risks by providing real-time safety checks, formulary/pricing checks, and safety-checked therapeutic alternatives for seniors and senior health providers. The integration with Surescripts is a significant step towards achieving this goal.
