SAN DIEGO - Californer -- Mouse and Weens Productions is excited to confirm that its feature film The Finding Papa Movie has been licensed by Tubi for streaming. Directed by Julianne Eggold, the film is now available to global audiences.
The documentary film has attracted attention since premiering at Zions Indie Film Fest and winning Best Documentary and Best Director at the Life Beyond Life Film Festival in Italy thanks to its investigative storytelling using humor, vulnerability, and raw honesty.
The Finding Papa Movie follows two sisters on a quest through California for their father's final resting place, taking the audience down a unique path of death, grief, closure, and spirituality. During the movie's journey, clues and advice are collected from experts in forensics, search and rescue, anthropology, archaeology, the supernatural, religion, psychology, and consciousness. In the end, the sisters are shocked and wonder if it is fate or something divine that brings about the final turn of events.
"Partnering with Tubi allows us to bring The Finding Papa Movie to viewers around the world," said Joelle Eggold Kohn, producer. "I'm excited for audiences to experience our story through my sister's unique narrative style, and hope that its themes of family love, learning, understanding, and forgiveness resonates with viewers. Our journey truly opened our minds in a positive way, and we hope it does that for others."
