The Help Group, a nonprofit leader supporting children, adolescents, and adults with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, developmental delays, and emotional challenges,announces its 29th Annual Summit: Transformative Journeys, taking place Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.
A Day of Inspiration and Innovation
Summit 2025 will feature two powerful keynote speakers, an award presentation honoring Abbey Romeo of Netflix's Love on the Spectrum, and an extensive lineup of distinguished voices in neurodiversity and mental health from across the nation.

Keynote Speakers
Dr. Aliza Pressman, developmental psychologist and author of The 5 Principles of Parenting: How to Raise Good Humans, will open the Summit with a keynote on raising resilient and compassionate children. A co-founder of the Mount Sinai Parenting Center, Dr. Pressman offers evidence-based, human-centered guidance for families navigating modern challenges.
Closing the Summit, Dr. Barry M. Prizant, internationally acclaimed autism expert and author of Uniquely Human: A Different Way of Seeing Autism, will share his insights on understanding and supporting neurodivergent individuals. With more than 50 years of groundbreaking work, Dr. Prizant's message celebrates strengths, fosters empathy, and reframes how the world views autism.
Distinguished Speakers and Sessions
This year's program will include presentations from leading experts including Dr. Anne Marie Albano (Columbia University), Dr. Charlotte DiStefano (CHLA), Dr. Elizabeth Laugeson (UCLA), Dr. Jenny Radesky (University of Michigan), and Dr. Assal Habibi (USC), among many others. Participants can earn up to 16 continuing education units (CEs).

The Help Group will present its Spirit of Hope Award to Abbey Romeo, Love on the Spectrum star, autism advocate, and Help Group alumna. Celebrated for her authenticity and fearless advocacy, Abbey has inspired millions worldwide to embrace self-acceptance and neurodiversity.
