TVS began televising basketball in 1960, beginning with an independent roster of Independent TV Stations and Building to A Joint Venture with NBC. TVS will telecast the NABL '3 on 3' Tournament Series Beginning in April.
CANTIL, Calif. - Californer -- TVS Television Network will begin televising the NABL '3 on 3' Basketball Series Beginning in April. NABL Teams will compete in 3 game series. The initial NABL teams will see the Los Angeles Jets against the Anaheim Amigos.
The NABL began as the NIBL a century ago as an alliance of company sponsored teams. Several of these teams - Ft Wayne Pistons, Tri City Hawks, Syracuse Nationals, Rochester Royals, Minneapolis Lakers, and Denver Truckers - eventually became members of the NBA.
TVS Television Network, a pioneer in the growth of College Basketball in the USA, began college basketball telecasts in 1960 and for the next 25 years was the leading network basketball broadcaster. Eventually TVS joined with NBC to telecast college basketball in the 1980's.

In recent years, NABL teams toured against college teams, showcasing post college players for international teams. Dozens of such players ended up playing with international teams around the world.
TVS will telecast these games on several TVS 24/7 streaming FAST channels, including TVS All American Network, TVS Women Sport Network, TVS Select Network, and the TVS TeleSports Network. All of these TVS streaming channels can be found on the WatchYour.TV platform, powered by Tulix.
