PALO ALTO, Calif. ~ Today, VMware, Inc. announced the launch of its new and improved Partner Connect program worldwide. The program is designed to provide partners with more flexibility and efficiency, faster paths to progression, more incentives and rewards for performance and capabilities. Through Partner Connect, VMware is helping partners drive growth by assisting their customers in navigating the multi-cloud era.
According to Tracy-Ann Palmer, Vice President of Global Channel Sales Programs and Compliance at VMware, "We are reinventing the VMware partner experience through Partner Connect. Our strategy is for every VMware partner to own the customer lifecycle end-to-end, leading with services, partnering with others, and building predictable, recurring revenue streams."

Steve White, VP Channels & Alliances at IDC commented on the transformation that VMware is delivering in the Partner Connect program: "By bringing everything together under one VMware program with a more simplified experience, VMware can help partners transition to as-a-service/subscription models, expand their services portfolios, and better leverage their investments to the fullest."
The new Partner Connect program will enable organizations to move from an environment of "cloud chaos" to a cloud smart approach by helping them accelerate migration of applications to the right cloud, automate and secure the software supply chain and rein in control of spend on private and public cloud infrastructure.
VMware partners have expressed enthusiasm about this evolution of Partner Connect as it provides them with more opportunities for success in helping their customers achieve critical business outcomes such as accelerating app modernization, enabling enterprise cloud transformation and securing the hybrid workforce.
