We Were Tomorrow was created by Madeleine Kennedy and was the first Australian independent series to ever launch during San Diego Comic-Con. The ambitious six-part series is released on Amazon Prime.
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- We Were Tomorrow tells the story of Evelyn and Noah who must navigate through three lifetimes to unearth the truth about their destiny with Warrick and Siena, but their efforts to flee the dying world become complicated when Cain, an immortal, decides to hunt them down.
We Were Tomorrow was created by award-winning actress, producer, and writer, Madeleine Kennedy, known for her roles in Damaged, Boar, Thicker Than Water, Charlie's Farm, and Dangerous Desires.
"Creating an independent sci-fi/fantasy drama television series with multiple time periods had never been done before in Australia. I brought together a great team and we scored an exceptional cast of esteemed and emerging actors who bring such electricity and flavour to their characters. With symbolic references to decode and some seeds of social commentary that may provoke deeper conversations, the 6 episodes of this indie Australian series are an addictive ride for all lovers of sci-fi/fantasy, drama, and period pieces. We Were Tomorrow went on to become the first of its kind to launch during San Diego Comic at Comic Con Radio's AfterTheCon," added Kennedy.
