CARLSBAD, Calif., Jan. 9, 2025 ~ As the wind-driven wildfires continue to ravage the Los Angeles area, 24 Hour Fitness has stepped up to offer support to those affected. The fitness chain has announced that all residents and first responders in the Los Angeles area will have access to their clubs throughout the month of January, regardless of membership status.
With 167 clubs in California, including 89 in the Los Angeles area, 24 Hour Fitness is a popular choice for many locals. Despite some closures due to power outages and proximity to fire zones, many of their clubs have since reopened. The company is continuously adding more locations to the list as power outages are resolved and evacuation orders shift.
Karl Sanft, CEO of 24 Hour Fitness, expressed his sympathy for those impacted by the wildfires. "Our hearts go out to the entire community affected by these devastating fires," he said.
