Shop for unique holiday gifts from 60 artisan vendors in a festive, family atmosphere, features traditional European foods and beverages with live holiday entertainment.
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Californer -- Looking to get into the holiday spirit? Experience a traditional European festival at the 4th Annual Holidays in the Village, A European Marketplace, Saturday, December 6. Holidays in the Village is presented by the Rotary Club of Westlake Village and hosted at The Oaks (Wilbur Road/West Thousand Oaks Blvd. parking lot).
"Holidays in the Village is like stepping into a European holiday marketplace," says Chris Daleiden, Holidays in the Village Rotary co-chair. "We have 60 artisan vendors offering handcrafted treasures, festive décor, and gourmet treats. It's more than shopping—it's an experience where finding the perfect gift blends with holiday lights, festive music, and the magic of the season."
The event features a Festive Garden and Le French Quarter. Guests can sample traditional European foods and beverages such as bratwurst, German pretzels, crepes, Italian pizza, aebleskivers (Danish pancakes), French pastries, kinderpunsch, Glühwein warm mulled wine, craft beers, mimosas, apple cider and hot cocoa.

Families can enjoy a bit of holiday magic when visiting Kris Kringle Village, with Kris and Mrs. Kringle, face painting, storytimes, specialty crafts, a holiday train, and a Village Bear Scavenger Hunt.
Carolers and live music will entertain visitors throughout the day. Performing on stage are AHH! Cappella, Pacific Festival Ballet and the Los Robles Children's Choir.
"The Oaks has always been a place where our community comes together, and we're proud to continue that tradition," said Kate Carter, Director of Marketing for Stockdale Capital Partners, owner and operator of The Oaks. "It's a space for families to make memories, celebrate the season and to support local businesses. We are proud to partner with the Rotary Club of Westlake Village to continue the incredible tradition of Holidays in the Village."
Community groups participating this year include Friends for Manna, the Conejo Rotary Clubs Group 4, the Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge, Art Trek, the Yarrow Family YMCA, Harbor House Thousand Oaks, the Scandinavian American Cultural and Historical Foundation and several local schools.

"These are just some of the wonderful groups helping make Holidays in the Village such a special event," says Daleiden. "One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit our local nonprofits."
Holidays in the Village sponsors include Logix Federal Credit Union, Visit Conejo Valley, Athens Services, City of Westlake Village Storm-Larsen & Co. and Ventura County Credit Union.
