LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Queen Sheba, a three-time Grammy-nominated spoken-word professor, author, and artist, has once again proven her capacity to engage a diverse audience with the release of a powerful new TEDx Talk titled "Reclaim They, The Pronoun of Genius."  She engages the audience, telling them to stop waiting on "them" and to realize that "you are the one you've been waiting for.

In this dynamic talk, Queen Sheba reframes "they" not as a matter of gender identity, but as a real declaration of the human potential.  "There is no 'they", she emphasizes, cautioning them: There has always been the they, urging viewers to recognize that they are the legends of their own fate, that genius doesn't show up in perfect form, that it ignites in just about every space, from tiny apartments to laundry rooms, junk drawers, and the backs of cars.  She draws from her own journey, from surviving sexual assault, neurodivergence, traumatic brain injury, and the will to survive and reclaim her memory.
