CANBERRA, Australia - Californer -- Addis Ababa, Ethiopia — [September 10th, 2025] – In a historic development for the Ethiopian Christian community, 84 churches across 10 cities have officially changed their signboards to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Lee Man-hee, hereafter "Shincheonji").
On September 10, the Shincheonji Peter Tribe hosted the "Ethiopia 84 Churches Signboard Replacement Ceremony."During the event, 84 pastors publicly declared their membership in Shincheonji and pledged to spread the New Covenant Revelation throughout Ethiopia, affirming their unity through the Word of Revelation.
This milestone traces back to last November when Pastor Asefa Angeto, President of the Misgana Denomination Association, attended the 2nd World Revelation Seminar at Shincheonji Cheongju Church in South Korea. Upon returning to Ethiopia, Pastor Asefa led a series of Bible seminars across more than 100 churches in 10 cities, testifying to the Revelation Word he had received. His efforts have sparked a nationwide wave of transformation within local congregations.

The replacement of church signboards is being recognized not merely as a symbolic change, but as a tangible step toward a Word-centered renewal across Ethiopia's Christian landscape.
During the ceremony, representatives of the 84 churches stated:
"We have become members of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which has mastered the Word of the New Covenant Revelation. We commit to spreading the Word of Revelation throughout Ethiopia and will dedicate ourselves to following the truth and strengthening our ministry of the Word."
A representative of Shincheonji's Peter Tribe added:
"Currently, 181 Ethiopian pastors are actively studying Shincheonji's Revelation teachings. We will continue to testify that the prophecies of Revelation are being fulfilled today and work toward uniting churches worldwide in the Word."
