Alten Construction completes modernization of Hogan Middle School

VALLEJO, Calif. - Californer -- Alten Construction (https://www.altenconstruction.com/), a full-service San Francisco Bay Area commercial construction company, recently completed its work on Hogan Middle School (https://www.vcusd.org/hogan), part of the Vallejo City Unified School District (https://www.vcusd.org/).

The $20 million modernization project included new roofs, HVAC systems, extensive site work, landscaping, new basketball courts and new lockers. A remodel of the theater building, parking lots, theater seating and five bathrooms were also part of the project.

Located at 850 Rosewood Ave. in Vallejo, the middle school enrolls roughly 824 students in sixth through eighth grade, with academic and enrichment classes to support the social and emotional needs of its students.

Alten Construction has completed a number of K-12 and higher educational projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including Aspire Berkley Maynard Academy, Marin Catholic High School, Castro Valley High School, Elmer Cove Language Academy, Independence High School and Bahia Vista Elementary School, among others.
