SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aria Systems, the leader in helping enterprises grow subscription and usage-based revenue, today announced that its Catalyst solution, presented alongside partners at Digital Transformation World, was awarded "Best New Catalyst in Show" by TM Forum.
Catalysts are proof-of-concept projects developed collaboratively by TM Forum members to solve problems presented by leading global Communications Service Providers (CSPs) and to define and propose new industry standards.
Titled "Async Open APIs for Event-Driven Architectures," the Catalyst demonstrated how an event-driven architecture can enable service providers to build a more scalable and flexible IT architecture, enabling faster integrations at lower costs. As one of the founding participants in the Catalyst project, Aria presented alongside CPQ vendor Bit2Win and systems integrators EPAM, TechMahindra, and Yupiik. The Catalyst was championed by more telecommunications providers than any other at Digital Transformation World, including BT, Jio, Orange, Telenor, Verizon, Vodafone, and Catalyst lead, CityFibre.

"The Aria platform was designed around an event-based architecture since its inception, so we're particularly honored by this prestigious recognition in delivering an innovative event-based solution that can support any CSP seeking to accelerate their digitization journey," said Brendan O'Brien, Aria Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer. "Following months of collaboration with our partners, we were able to develop and showcase a solution that will have real-world implications for the global telco community. Not only does this model envisage a huge leap forward in interoperability in a next-generation BSS architecture, it also challenges the TM Forum ODA standard itself to fully adopt event-based architectures going forward."
