PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Californer -- The Latino Leaders Network (LLN), a non-profit organization dedicated to "Bringing Leaders Together", will convene the 66th Latino Leaders Luncheon Series to honor Arturo Vargas, CEO of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO), with the Eagle Leadership Award. Hosted by the Latino Leaders Network Chairman Mickey Ibarra, the event will take place on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST at the Omni Providence Hotel.
WHAT:
The 66th Latino Leaders Luncheon Series is scheduled to convene on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST at the Omni Providence Hotel in Providence, RI.
The event will honor Arturo Vargas, NALEO CEO, with the Eagle Leadership Award.
Remarks will be delivered by members of the Honorary Host Committee, including Lt. Governor of Rhode Island Sabina Matos, Rhode Island Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea, and Central Falls Mayor Maria Rivera, and Gonzalo Cuervo. Additional committee members include Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza, former Providence Mayor Angel Taveras and former mayor of Central Falls James Diossa.

The Latino Policy Institute at Roger Williams University will serve as the community partner.
The event will convene elected officials, policymakers, corporate executives, opinion leaders, community activists, industry experts, and political insiders.
