SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- ASIS San Francisco Chapter Named I.B. Hale Chapter of the Year
New Orleans, LA – October 2025 — ASIS International's San Francisco Chapter has received the I.B. Hale Chapter of the Year Award, the organization's highest honor, announced at the 2025 Global Security Exchange (GSX) in New Orleans.
This prestigious award recognizes outstanding chapter performance, leadership, and community impact within the global security industry.
"Coming back after COVID wasn't easy," said Deric Morrow, 2024 Chapter Chair. "But through the commitment of our board and volunteers, we've reinvigorated our programming, deepened community engagement, and set the stage for long-term growth. We're honored by this recognition and more motivated than ever to serve as a model chapter for ASIS."

The San Francisco chapter's revitalization efforts over the past year included:
"This award is a reflection of shared vision, not individual achievement," said Robert Chamberlin, Chapter Secretary and President of Security 101 in Northern California.
