SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- "Today there are many talented musicians with perfect technique, but there is a need to communicate authentic emotions and renew the personal sphere to be a third-millennium musician, aligned with a new, whole, and integrated humanity, capable of responding to the growing challenges of the demand for a sense of playing to prepare a new audience for a deeper and more complete listening experience..."

This quote from Rostropovich sums up the mission of "Suono Sacro Academy," the Academy of Sacred Music in Assisi founded by Andrea Ceccomori (President of Assisi Suono Sacro), an internationally renowned flutist, at the suggestion of Lino Del Vecchio, a fashion consultant for Haute Couture since the 1980s and an executive manager for major event productions, who supports its promotion and institutional relations as well as managing the necessary public and private partnerships.

"Suono Sacro Academy" is based on the values and principles of the inspired and enlightened musician of Assisi Suono Sacro, dedicated to the ideals of peace, sacredness, and universal brotherhood." This is the peculiarity of the training program proposed in the annual courses and summer masterclasses.

The Academy's logistics involve the location of its various locations throughout the region, starting with the main classrooms in Assisi, one at the Orto degli Aghi, a needle factory built in 1822, and the other at the Assisium Center, a Roman archaeological site embedded in the historic topography of Assisi dating back to the 3rd century BC. These classrooms were made available by curator Giampiero Italiani.

Beyond Assisi, other locations are underway in Cascia, Norcia, Gubbio, and Marsciano, as well as two foreign locations in the USA (San Francisco) and Shangai, which have hosted repeated tours and individual concerts by Andrea Ceccomori.
