To be considered for participation in this program, companies had to meet certain eligibility requirements such as having at least 15 full- or part-time permanent employees working in Los Angeles County and being in business for at least one year. Companies from across LA County entered the assessment process which consisted of two parts - an evaluation of each nominated company's benefits, policies, practices, and demographics (worth 20% of the total evaluation) and an anonymous employee survey designed to measure the employee experience (worth 80% of the total evaluation).
Workforce Research Group managed the registration and survey process in Los Angeles and analyzed the data to determine the final rankings. The full rankings were revealed at a special dinner event on August 7th and are also published in the current issue of the Los Angeles Business Journal.
