Borla Performance Exhausts has released Cat-Back and Axle-Back exhaust systems for the 2024-2026 Ford Mustang GT.
OXNARD, Calif. - Californer -- System Specifications and Features
Available Configurations
Borla offers both Cat-Back and Axle-Back systems for the Mustang GT. The Cat-Back system replaces everything from the catalytic converters back. The Axle-Back system replaces the rear section only and is available for 5.0L Mustang GT models without Active Valve Performance Exhaust, AND for models with Active Valve Performance Exhaust. Both Cat-Back and Axle-Back configurations are available in S-Type and ATAK sound levels.
Sound Levels
The S-Type delivers Borla's signature tone with an aggressive character that is subdued at cruise and opens up under acceleration. The ATAK is Borla's loudest sound level, producing maximum output across the RPM range. Both sound levels use Borla's patented multi-core technology, which eliminates drone at highway cruising speeds.
Pipe Diameter and Tip Options
More on The Californer
The Cat-Back system is a 3" diameter True Dual system featuring a Merge X-Pipe and 4" round tips. The Axle-Back system uses a 2.5" diameter with 4" round tips. Tip finishes are available in Chrome, Black Chrome, and Carbon Fiber across both configurations.
Active Exhaust Compatibility
Cat-Back systems are available for both Active Exhaust and non-Active Exhaust Mustang GT models. For Active Exhaust cars, Borla's system includes valves that interface with the factory valve actuators. All factory exhaust modes are retained and fully functional after installation.
Construction and Warranty
All systems are built from T-304 austenitic stainless steel. Each system is covered by Borla's Million Mile Warranty, (https://www.borla.com/support/million-mile-warranty) which covers defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner.
