Open 24 Hours for Valentine's Day with Special Guest "The Human Rose"
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Los Angeles, CA – In anticipation of Valentine's Day, California Flower Mall (CFM) is thrilled to announce its extended 24-hour operation, setting the stage for a floral extravaganza. For the second consecutive year, "The Human Rose" will grace CFM, inviting families and kids for a unique photo opportunity. CFM will also have a special floral backdrop available to all customers, enhancing the charm of every snapshots.
Florists at CFM are delighted that Valentine's Day falls on a Wednesday this year, historically correlating with increased floral sales, avoiding the Super Bowl competition on Feb. 11. A mid-week Valentine's Day also extends selling opportunities, with double weekends leading up to the event.
Noteworthy statistics indicate that 53% of consumers plan to celebrate Valentine's Day, spending a collective $25.8 billion – the third-highest in survey history. Those aged 25-34 lead the celebration at 62%, with an expected spending per person of $185.

CFM offers budget-friendly floral shopping tips, such as placing holiday orders early and considering alternative flowers and rose colors. A mix of roses and other affordable flowers like tulips, sunflowers, and daisies offers an economical yet heartfelt celebration.
When selecting roses for a loved one or friend, consider the profound meanings behind each color. Red roses express feelings of true love and passion, while also conveying respect, desire, and courage. Opt for yellow roses to spread happiness and joy, or use them to symbolize the ideal color for friendship. Pink roses, a timeless symbol of love, can also convey happiness, gentleness, and femininity. White roses encompass a ranging meaning from purity and innocence to sympathy and protection. Choosing the right color adds an extra layer of thoughtfulness to your floral gesture, making it even more meaningful.
In line with the romantic spirit, the National Retail Federation forecasts record-breaking spending of $14.2 billion for significant others. Top gifts include flowers (39%)beating out (32%), jewelry (22%), clothing (21%), and gift cards (19%) as in demand gifts. Expect new spending records for jewelry ($6.4 billion), flowers ($2.6 billion), clothing ($3 billion), and an evening out ($4.9 billion).
