SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 14, 2024 ~ San Francisco, CA - The holiday season is upon us and The Marker Hotel is ready to spread the festive cheer. Located just off Union Square, the hotel is transformed into a winter wonderland with the spirit of Charles Dickens filling the air. From holiday decorations and activations to special packages and customizable event options, The Marker is the perfect destination to experience the magic of the season.
"We are thrilled to create a truly immersive holiday experience this year," said Brian Fenwick, Managing Director of The Marker Hotel. "Our goal is to provide a memorable experience for both our local residents and out-of-town visitors. We have decked our halls with music, mirth, and a plethora of merry cocktails. Plus, our partnership with A.C.T reflects our commitment to honoring San Francisco's artistic legacy."
Guests are invited to indulge in seasonal cocktails at Tratto, The Marker's signature hotel restaurant. Accompanied by award-winning Mistletoe Carolers, guests can enjoy a variety of festive drinks from Tratto's special holiday cocktail menu. Some highlights include the Dickensian Eggnog, based on the chef's family recipe and perfect for spiking with your favorite holiday spirit; the Gingerbread Martini, made with vodka, crème de cacao, gingerbread syrup, half and half, and topped with whipped cream and a gingerbread cookie; and the Spiced Cranberry Rum Old Fashioned, a blend of spiced rum, orange juice, clove and cinnamon syrup, cranberry juice, bitters, garnished with orange peel, fresh cranberries, and a cinnamon stick.

The holiday cocktail menu will launch on November 22 in time for A.C.T's opening night on November 26. To add to the festive atmosphere at The Marker Hotel, Dickensian carolers will serenade guests on Friday and Saturday evenings throughout December.
"It's going to be a Dickens of a good time," laughed Tim Salaver, director of the Mistletoe Carolers. "The Marker's classic architecture is the perfect backdrop for our traditional and contemporary sounds. It's a great way to start or end an evening of Victorian holiday festivities."
The Mistletoe Carolers have been entertaining audiences since 2016 and are excited to partner with The Marker Hotel once again. "Our singers love the ambience and decorations in the lobby," said Salaver.
In a unique collaboration with San Francisco's acclaimed A.C.T (American Conservatory Theater), The Marker Hotel is offering exclusive offerings inspired by their production of "A Whynot Christmas Carol". This heartwarming adaptation of the Dickens classic runs from November 26 to December 24, just steps away from the theater's historic stage.
