AristoPup Grooming Launches "Fresh Start Grooming Days" to Help Palm Springs Animal Shelter Dogs

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - Californer -- AristoPup Grooming is launching AristoPup Fresh Start Grooming Days, a new recurring community program providing complimentary professional grooming services to dogs at Palm Springs Animal Shelter.

The first Fresh Start Grooming Day will take place Saturday, September 12, from noon to 5 p.m. AristoPup plans to continue the program on the second Saturday of each month, creating a consistent opportunity for shelter dogs to receive professional grooming while they wait for their forever homes.

The program is built around a simple idea: a groom can give a shelter dog a fresh start.

Professional grooming can help improve a dog's comfort and appearance while increasing visibility to potential adopters. Dogs dealing with overgrown coats, matting, excessive shedding, or the stress of shelter life can benefit from professional care as they prepare for adoption.

"We believe every dog deserves the opportunity to put their best paw forward," said Stanley Peery, founder of AristoPup Grooming. "We wanted to find a way to donate our professional skills consistently—not just once, but month after month—to help shelter dogs get noticed and get one step closer to a forever home."

In addition to the monthly grooming day, AristoPup is providing a number of Priority Grooming sessions available each month for dogs needing more immediate attention. These appointments can be scheduled during AristoPup's regular business hours and may be used for newly admitted dogs with significant grooming needs, animals preparing for adoption events, or other priority cases identified by shelter staff.

AristoPup is also encouraging members of the community to visit Palm Springs Animal Shelter during Fresh Start Grooming Days to support the shelter, meet adoptable animals, and learn more about the pets waiting for homes.

"Fresh Start Grooming Day isn't just about making a dog look pretty," Peery said. "It's about giving that dog another opportunity to be seen."
