ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Californer -- Celebration has three main areas of focus: (1) the strength and power of getting every 18-year-old young woman in New Mexico registered and voting in the 2020 General Elections in November; (2) the strength of women working together having a woman from each state join us on a virtual platform in New Mexico, pledging to vote, changing the trajectory of women's rights with the power of her vote in 2020; and (3) the strength of women 90 years of age and older who continue to vote and share stories of the first time they voted to inspire other women to vote.

The Celebrating 100 Years of Voting with Women 18-108 Event Takes Place;
  • When: Wednesday - August 26, 2020  @ 4:00 - 8:00 pm Mountain Time.
  • Emphasis: Increase the number of female millennial voters beginning at 18 years of age, to having every woman who is eligible to vote, and fully commit to it, in the 2020 General Election this November.
Albuquerque Civil Plaza | Women representing all genres of performing arts will join us. The two keynote speakers are Albuquerque City Councilor Diane Gibson, and renowned author Olivia Friedman, speaking on 2020 and Beyond in the era of Women's Rights.
