Charleston, SC– Ashley Cooper Stormwater Education Consortium is pleased to announce they are now offering "Ivy" rain barrels through their annual rain barrel program. They are offering the rain barrels at a discounted price to encourage residents to conserve precious water resources as well as to protect water quality.

The rain barrels can be purchased directly through the program's website using a credit card. The normal retail is $149.00 but through this promotion they are only $77.00.

The rain barrel captures rainwater from roof-tops by connecting to the homes downspout. The cumulative effect of rain barrels implemented throughout a geographic area can have a significant impact on stormwater management and water quality. Water collected by the rain barrels can be used for gardens, lawns, and to wash cars.
