Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach, CA - The City of Long Beach has been announced as the official host for the 2025 Long Beach Pride Parade for the second consecutive year. This decision ensures that the beloved event will continue to be a staple in the community. Co-sponsored by the City, Port of Long Beach, and Council District Two, this year's parade promises to be a celebration of love, acceptance, and unity.
Mayor Rex Richardson expressed his excitement for the upcoming parade, stating that it is more than just a celebration but also a reflection of the heart and soul of the city. He emphasized that it is a vibrant expression of diversity and inclusivity, reminding everyone of the power of living authentically and standing together.
The Long Beach Pride Parade has been a longstanding tradition in both Long Beach and the greater Los Angeles region. It attracts thousands of spectators and participants each year. The 42nd annual parade will take place on Sunday, May 18th, starting at Ocean Boulevard and Lindero Avenue. It will then travel along iconic stretches of Ocean Boulevard and Alamitos Avenue in Downtown.

Led by this year's grand marshals, the parade will feature various organizations, businesses, and stakeholder groups showcasing vibrant floats and displays. Businesses and community organizations interested in participating can submit an entry application until Friday, May 9th with no entry fee required.
Second District Councilwoman Cindy Allen expressed her support for this year's parade theme "The Power of Community." She stated that it is not only a great community event but also an important movement during these vulnerable times in our nation's history. She also highlighted Long Beach's commitment to LGBTQ+ rights and its role as a leader in promoting equality.
