From seven years in the Navy to a portfolio spanning fitness gear, live athletic competition, viral content, and AI powered software, Austen Alexander keeps building.
SAN DIEGO - Californer -- Austen Alexander is not most people. The 30 year old Navy veteran has built a reputation for doing the thing nobody expects: taking an idea that sounds a little crazy and actually executing it. Not once, not twice, but across five separate ventures spanning fitness gear, live competition events, a mobile challenge bus, and now, software powered by artificial intelligence.
Alexander spent seven years serving in the United States Navy as a Master at Arms in the Harbor Patrol division. He joined in 2013 after dropping out of college, and by the time he left active duty in 2020, he had already been building on the side for years. In 2017, while still in uniform, he founded AMA Marketing, a digital media production company. Today, his YouTube channel has more than 1.6 million subscribers and has generated over three billion views across platforms.

From that audience, Alexander built The Battle Bunker, a fitness equipment company that sells premium military grade gear made in the USA. The brand has served over 5,400 customers. He then launched the Battle Bus, a branded bus that rolls into parking lots challenging strangers to fitness tasks for cash. Within 55 days, the series exploded to 100 million views and added over 100,000 new subscribers.
His most ambitious project is Hybricon Games, a multi day hybrid fitness competition designed to crown the toughest athlete in the world. The 2024 event on Catalina Island was filmed and released as a documentary on Amazon Prime, earning a 9.5 rating on IMDb.
Alexander's latest venture, AMA Softwares, represents a pivot into the tech space. He is building AI powered tools to help veteran business owners scale their operations without needing full teams or large budgets. He has also partnered with BLDR Sports on performance supplements.
With more than 2.5 million veteran owned businesses in the United States, Alexander is positioning himself as a practical resource for fellow veteran entrepreneurs, turning the lessons from his own companies into frameworks others can follow.
