Cynthia Pinot, Hispanic Artist with Native Roots Is Selected To Showcase Her Works At The Prestigious London Art Biennale 2025 Relating The Story Of American Residential Schools
HOUSTON & SANTA FE, N.M. - Californer -- Houston Texas— Cynthia Pinot a contemporary artist from The Rio Grande Valley has been selected for the London Art Biennale 2025, one of the UK's most respected international art events. Held from 16 to 20 July 2025 at Chelsea Old Town Hall, the Biennale celebrates its VII edition, featuring 350 creative talents from 60 nations.
The Biennale is organized in collaboration with London's historic Gagliardi Gallery, a long-standing cultural institution in Chelsea. The event is curated by an international panel led by Peter Gagliardi, and showcases museum-level works across painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and mixed media, with a focus on artistic excellence and innovation.
Cynthia Pinot will exhibit HERITAGE Dreams, a Mixed Media work exploring the symbolism of the innocent spirit of thousands of Indigenous children whose lives were lost during mass migration, colonization, and residential schools. The Doves are symbolic of both the Creator and Spirit, together they paint an image of peace through strife.

"I am honored to have my work selected for such a prestigious platform," said Pinot.
"HERITAGE Dreams is an expression of a very deep and personal Native American narrative that is important to me. Humanity has a deep well full of stories. Artists have a responsibility to continue to document not just story, but the emotions behind them. If I have evoked emotion, I have done my job."
About Cynthia Pinot:
Cynthia Pinot is a recognized Mixed Media artist based in Houston Texas. A former model, and Hollywood actress, Cynthia's work is known for painting and illustrating the stoic emotional accounts of the Great American Landscape through her heart and spirit. Her work has earned her international recognition, magazine covers in Germany and Japan, with awards from TeraVarna Gallery's International Figurative Competition, Colors Of Humanity Art Gallery, and Camelback Gallery, among others. She was also named Artist of the Month by The ArtList in July 2023, highlighting her status as a breakout artist. Her breakthrough piece "Iipoaa't" (titled in Siksikáí'powahsin, the Blackfoot language, meaning "I Stand Up, We Still Stand") was featured during the 2024 Biennale Di Arte in Italy. The work, which combined photography, illustration, real Diamond particles and acrylic on canvas explored themes of Native American history and colonization—reflecting Cynthia's own Spanish, Mexican, Native American, Ndee, ancestry.
