SANTA ANA, Calif. - Californer -- Internet Equality Summit
ALX events has partnered with the Social Media Freedom Foundation to present the 2023 Internet Equality Summit (IES) charity event May 11th & 12th in Orange County, California. This bi-partisan event provides the opportunity to hear from experts in the field about the latest advances in internet policy and regulation. It brings us great pleasure to announce that Dan Schneider and Erik Finman have joined the IES speaker lineup.
Dan Schneider
Dan Schneider is a lawyer, policy professional, and political strategist. Throughout his lengthy career, he has worked in Washington, DC, New York City, and Zheng Zhou, China (also known as iPhone City). Dan is currently the Vice President of Free Speech at the Media Research Center. He previously served as the executive director of the American Conservative Union, and the organizer of CPAC. His work in government has included roles in the White House, executive branch agencies, the US Senate, and the US House of Representatives.

Dan will examine the issues journalists face regarding reporting on issues of public concern, without fear of censorship or bias in his session: "Cherry picking the First Amendment.....Not all journalist voices are heard."
Erik Finman
Erik Finman is the youngest bitcoin millionaire, as well as a successful entrepreneur and investor featured in Forbes, CNBC, VentureBeat, CoinTelegraph, and many more. At 12 years old Erik made his first crypto investment. At age 15, Erik dropped out of high school to start Botangle, an education startup, he later sold the company. Erik launched a satellite into space, which later became the ZASH satellite that dropped the world's first NFT from space with Snoop Dogg and Grimes at EDC Las Vegas 2022. Prior to that, he beamed Bitcoin down from a constellation of satellites in outer space to a school in Ghana. Finman also created a Dr. Octopus suit that works as a prosthetic prototype.
