HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Californer -- Illusion Islands has announced that Elliot (My Crazy Ex) will be acting opposite of Matt Rife (Wild'n Out) in the feature film titled, The Private Eye.

The movie is currently in pre-production and in the middle of the casting process.
Elliot has worked with director Jack Cook on multiple projects in the past including: The Torc Campaign, From Dark Eye's to Winter's Eternity, and most recently The Elevator.

In a statement released after the casting, Elliot stated: "I am thrilled to be apart of and work on such a great project. As soon as I read the script I knew I wanted to be all in. The underlying message that The Private Eye shines a light on is of great significance to me; my favorite stories are always ones with a deeper meaning. Jack is a phenomenal director and storyteller and really gets the most out of his actors."

In addition to working together as actor and director, Elliot and Cook own Illusion Islands with Alex Kagianaris. Illusion Islands is a motion picture production company based in Beverly Hills.
