CHALMETTE, La. - Californer -- Eric Bopp of has officially announced that he is running for Judge of Divison E - St. Bernard Parish!
Eric Bopp was born and raised in Arabi, Louisiana; a community where family comes first. Eric and Lisa Bopp have been married for over thirty years. They have three children, Maggie, Eric Jr., and Samantha; two grandchildren, Genevieve and Finn. They currently live in Arabi, where both grandchildren attend Arabi Elementary School. Eric has been active in civic, political and community ventures in St. Bernard his entire life. St. Bernard's unique culture has played an integral role in forming the person Eric is today.
For over 34 years Eric has practiced law in St. Bernard Parish. He possesses extensive legal experience, having handled hundreds of cases in state and federal courts, before judges and juries, including arguing in front of the Louisiana Supreme Court. Eric's broad professional experience has exposed him to all three areas of the law: Criminal, Civil, and Administrative. He has successfully handled cases with complex legal issues involving Family Law, Successions, Business Law, Maritime, Bankruptcy, Juvenile Law, Regulatory, Professional Licensure, Real Estate, Taxation, and Personal Injury. Eric Bopp's legal training and skills uniquely qualify him to be our next judge in St. Bernard Parish.
