VENTURA, Calif. - Californer -- SAFE SOSS (http://www.safesoss.com), a wildfire defense system developed by professional wildland firefighter, has launched in Lowe's stores across wildfire-prone regions and is available for nationwide shipping at Lowes.com. The three-step Block, Seal, Defend system addresses wind-borne embers, which account for up to 90% of home losses during wildfires.

Nicholai Allen, Founder of SAFE SOSS, who has served on federal wildfire incidents and continues to respond on the fireline, began developing the system after the 2018 Woolsey Fire impacted his family. Addressing Preparedness Needs

The products feature extended shelf lives designed for advance preparation. The spray can be stored at the ready  for five years, while the tape remains usable for up to 10 years when stored properly. The carbon filters install year-round and provide air quality benefits during smoke events from nearby or distant fires.
