SAN MATEO, Calif. - Californer -- For World Music Therapy Day: ARE YOU FEELING FRUSTRATED ABOUT MONEY AND POLITICS?
At least you can vent some of your frustrations about money and politics with two very "therapeutic" songs called "Big Bucks" and "Run For Office."
And they're not just for World Music Therapy Day, the lyrics to both of these songs may very well be timeless and universal.
"Big Bucks" is a song about the hopes and dreams of making big money and the frustrations about not making big money. (And if money is indeed the root of all evil, you're going to love a song about money called "Big Bucks.")
"Run For Office" is a song about power, politics, sex, lies, money and greed…all the stuff that politics is a made of. (The people will love this song, politicians will hate it.)
The songs were originally written as poems by Robert Barrows, President of an advertising agency called R.M. Barrows Advertising and Public Relations in San Mateo, California, and in 1999, Barrows teamed up with a musician named Gary Warren, and they co-wrote the song versions.

"Crazy Robert's Poems and Potential Song Lyrics," "Crazy Robert's More Great Poems and Potential Song Lyrics," "Crazy Robert's Third Great Book of Poems and Potential Song Lyrics," (and to make it easy for people in the music business to see the songs that could be made into some great potential song lyrics, Barrows recently compiled the potential song lyric poems from these books into a fourth book called "Crazy Robert's Great Potential Song Lyrics Destined to Become Big Hits."
