Marine and former state department official made headlines for resignation
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Matthew Hoh, foreign policy consultant, disabled combat veteran and former State Department official will appear on the October 14th and 19th episodes of The Open Highway podcast.
Stationed in Afghanistan's Zabul province, Hoh made worldwide headlines in 2009 when he resigned to protest the Obama administration's escalation of the War in Afghanistan. Hoh has become an advocate for peace and support for soldiers suffering from PTSD and traumatic injuries. He has been a guest on numerous news networks including the BBC, CBS, CNN, Fox, NBC, MSNBC, NPR and RT.
Past Open Highway guests have included Mark Hall-Patton (former administrator of the Clark County Museum and featured on the hit show "Pawn Stars"), police reform advocate and former detective Matthew Newbauer and former WWE wrestler Katarina Waters. The show is available on all major podcast platforms including Spotify, Apple Podcasts and IHeartRadio.
