Film by Angie Ruiz features advances in the treatment of canine cancer
LOS ANGELES - May 15, 2019 - Californer -- Forever Faithful, a documentary film released by Angie Ruiz (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1494116/) in 2017, is now streaming on multiple channels including Amazon Prime, Google Play, and iTunes. Forever Faithful (http://foreverfaithfulfilm.weebly.com/) explores the relationship between humans and their dogs, the difficult journey of saying goodbye to a loved pet, and important advances being made in the field of canine cancer.
Ruiz is a documentary filmmaker, actress, and dog-lover based in Los Angeles, Calif. Her first documentary, Black Beauty Breed (http://blackbeautybreed.com/), profiled the Rottweiler and highlighted their intelligence and history as a working dog. During the filming of Black Beauty Breed, Ruiz learned that the Rottweiler and other large breed dogs are prone to bone cancer. She was deeply affected when her own dog, Samson, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and created Forever Faithful to help raise canine cancer awareness and support canine cancer research initiatives.
