The Solopreneur Who Created Four Industries: Animation SEO, Social Media Interactives, Branded Arcade Game Events and Vegan Games.
REDLANDS, Calif. - Californer -- Over the past fifteen years, Joshua Autrey-Serrano has consistently identified gaps in various industries and created groundbreaking solutions to address them.
More than a decade ago, inspired by interactive games, Autrey-Serrano developed a social media management solution specializing in interactive media. In early tests, the solution—nicknamed Adventure & Whatnot—proved to be over twice as effective as static posts, helping brands achieve significant engagement.
Shortly before this breakthrough, his animation studio project evolved into a new industry for SEO solutions. Autrey-Serrano pioneered a proprietary strategy that hybridized conventional search engine optimization with media asset production, specifically for use in SEO campaigns. The result: SEO campaigns that rank faster and deliver higher conversion rates. This innovation, known as Animation SEO, is now offered under the product name Animation & Whatnot.

Following the success of Animation SEO, Autrey-Serrano turned his attention to new challenges.
A few years later, he uncovered an untapped opportunity in the event marketing field. Inspired by online events for game developers, Autrey-Serrano introduced the concept of custom-branded arcade machines for event marketing. The idea was simple yet innovative: businesses could host competitive events at consumer-facing locations using reusable assets. This solution is currently available to event coordinators under the Adventure & Whatnot brand.
Around the same time, his personal experiences inspired the creation of the world's first vegan games. With a mission to promote veganism in a fun and positive way, Autrey-Serrano launched Plant-Based Munchies, a project featuring 14 original titles. When people ask what makes a game vegan, Autrey-Serrano explains that it's both the mission itself and the use of sustainable, plant-based materials in production.

These successes, however, did not come without challenges. One of Autrey-Serrano's earlier ventures, Make A Dish Vegan, aimed to transform any recipe into a vegan dish. While the brand initially received great reception, it struggled due to delays and failed partnerships. Autrey-Serrano now plans to relaunch it as an event service, offering tournament-style vegan experiences.
All of Autrey-Serrano's solutions have received overwhelmingly positive feedback in group surveys. Animation SEO has enabled videos and pages to rank on AIs and search engines in as little as two business days. Additionally, brands using Adventure & Whatnot have reported significantly higher engagement rates on both mobile and desktop social media platforms.
With a proven track record of transforming creative ideas into successful solutions, his story is only just beginning.
