Come make a catnip mouse for the cats at the Pet Adoption Center
RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Californer -- DragonMarsh invites the community to a heartwarming charity event, Mouse Making Madness. This unique community gathering invites pet lovers of all ages and skill levels to create catnip-filled mice to help the furry residents of the Mary S Roberts Pet Adoption Center. From August 16th to 17th, between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, attendees can drop in for as little as 15 minutes or stay the full four hours to create toys that will bring joy to shelter cats in need.
Miss Pepper Jade, the beloved DragonMarsh store cat, will be on hand to welcome participants to this unique event that blends fun, creativity, and compassion. Morigianna will provide fabric scraps, patterns, and sewing supplies, while DragonMarsh supplies catnip and other kitty herbs to fill the toys, and setting the purr-fect ambiance for the class Let's spread love joy and paws-itivity together!
Everyone is welcome to join in this fun and meaningful activity. No sewing experience is needed; helpers can cut patterns, stuff toys, or sew, making this event perfect for families and individuals alike. While the entry fee is a donation of any pet food, no one will be turned away for lack of donations. The goal is to craft at least 150 catnip mice while also collecting food supplies making a meaningful difference for the animals awaiting forever homes.
