RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Californer -- The Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE) and CSUSB School of Entrepreneurship is partnering with the Riverside County Office of Economic Development to support veteran entrepreneurship in Riverside County. The free Veteran Entrepreneurship Program, designed for Riverside County veterans, active-duty members and their direct family members, will teach the skills, knowledge, and mindset to navigate the entrepreneurial landscape.
"It's an honor to empower our Veterans and service members by enhancing the skills they need to thrive as entrepreneurs," said Kimberly Wright, Economic Development Manager for the Riverside County Office of Economic Development. "Through this program, we express our gratitude for their service and sacrifice."
The 5-month program starts March 15th and is divided into two phases, with foundational workshops covering mindset priming, problem ideation, validation, and market entry strategies, followed by individualized consulting, pitch competitions and specialized knowledge sessions. Instruction is provided by top faculty from Cal State University, San Bernardino's School of Entrepreneurship (ranked among the Princeton Review's Top 50).
