LOS ANGELES - Californer -- LOS ANGELES, CA — [April 15, 2025] — The Calexit Initiative, a growing movement advocating for California's independence, is proud to announce it has reached its first fundraising milestone: $500 raised through its official GoFundMe campaign.
While modest, this initial round of funding marks a critical first step in fueling statewide efforts, including petition printing, community outreach, and media campaigns aimed at informing Californians about the path to sovereignty.
"This $500 proves that people are ready to support a better future for California," said Dr. Xavier Mitchell, CEO of the Calexit Initiative. "We're not just talking — we're building, block by block, dollar by dollar."
The movement's next target is $5,000 by May 1st, with a full campaign deadline of July 5th. Funds raised will support the next phase of the initiative, including regional tour stops, immersive media content, and infrastructure to manage the petition signature process.

With California boasting the fifth-largest economy in the world, the Calexit Initiative argues it has the resources, vision, and public support to pursue peaceful, democratic independence from the federal government. The group's efforts also include launching its own digital currency (CNT), rolling out NFT-based economic tools, and laying groundwork for a self-sustaining infrastructure for trade, policy, and prosperity.
How to Get Involved:
"This is more than a political movement," Mitchell added. "It's a declaration of California's future — led by the people, powered by purpose."
