New Feature Lets Sales and Delivery Teams Customize Requirement Depth for Their Specific Project Phase
SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- Glossa, the AI-powered requirements management platform for professional services teams, today announced the beta launch of Requirements Granularity Dial, a feature that gives users control over the volume and detail level of AI-generated requirements.
The Problem: One Size Doesn't Fit All Project Phases
Sales teams need high-level requirements to scope projects. Delivery teams need detailed requirements with specific acceptance criteria. Previously, AI-generated requirements provided one level of detail—too granular for early discovery or too sparse for implementation.
"Glossa's requirements were accurate but sometimes too detailed for where teams were in the project lifecycle," said Ali Meyer, founder of Glossa. "Sales doesn't need fifty granular requirements—they need ten broad ones. Delivery needs thorough details. We built Requirements Granularity Dial to solve this."

How It Works
The feature offers three granularity levels selected when creating a project:
Broad Strokes creates high-level requirements with minimal detail—optimized for sales discovery and initial scoping.
Balanced provides medium detail and volume, creating approximately twice as many requirements as Broad Strokes.
Granular generates thorough, detailed requirements, creating approximately twice as many requirements as Balanced—designed for delivery teams preparing for implementation.
Every file uploaded to a project is processed at the chosen detail level. Teams can change the setting any time.
Glossa's AI Review also automatically adjusts evaluation criteria based on granularity level.
Built by Implementation Experts
Ali Meyer founded Glossa after more than a decade in tech—first as a Salesforce implementation consultant, then leading product at Salesforce where she helped launch Nonprofit Cloud Fundraising, and as Head of Product at AgentSync.
"I spent thousands of hours doing discovery calls and writing requirements manually back in 2014," Meyer said. "Then I watched the same manual processes continue to slow teams and create risks a decade later. Glossa automates what can be automated, so teams can focus on strategic work that requires human judgment."

Availability
Requirements Granularity Dial is available today in beta to all Glossa users at no additional cost. Meyer encourages users to provide feedback: "We'll be refining this based on what teams tell us over the next few weeks."
