LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Acclaimed bridal designer Lauren Elaine, known for her whimsical and cinematic couture gowns, is pulling back the curtain on a bold new venture: Like A Virgin Bridal (LAV) — a fashion-forward, thematic bridal brand created for the modern bride who doesn't believe in "doing things the way they've always been done."
The name is ironic. That's kind of the point.
"Like A Virgin" (LAV) pokes fun at wedding tradition while making space for something more honest, more personal, and more exciting. Designed for brides who value authenticity over expectation, LAV is a celebration of individuality — offering limited-edition, highly thematic bridal wardrobe pieces inspired by pop culture, music, film, and Americana.
"I've spent over a decade designing gowns for thousands of brides worldwide, but when I got married — I didn't wear one," says Elaine. "I didn't realize it at the time, but that decision sparked a shift in me creatively. LAV is the result."

Launching with a cinematic teaser — a "flame reveal cake" video that dramatically unveils the brand name — LAV is already turning heads. The brand is built around sustainability, slow fashion values, and full transparency, with each piece made to order in the USA to ensure minimal waste and zero mass production.
LAV doesn't replace Lauren Elaine Bridal. Instead, it reveals the other side of the designer's creative voice. Where Lauren Elaine Bridal is ethereal and fantasy-driven, LAV is real, raw, and rebellious — a duality many modern brides relate to.
