PITTSBURGH, March 13, 2023 ~ An inventor from Irvine, California has developed a device to enhance safety for police officers while pursuing criminals in cars. The patent-pending invention, HANDS FREE PURSUIT, enables officers to keep both hands on the steering wheel while verbally communicating with dispatch. This allows undercover officers to communicate in an inconspicuous manner and improves focus, concentration and safety when chasing criminals in police cars.

The inventor, who has worked in law enforcement for 31 years, is familiar with the dangers associated with talking to dispatch while pursuing criminals in cars. He believes that this device will reduce the potential for accident involvement by allowing police officers to make quick and accurate steering adjustments at high speeds. The device is easy to use, compact and lightweight.
