Senior Guard/Forward "Iverson Jordan Smith" (#24) of California Sets Sights on Division | Basketball
LONG BEACH, Calif. - Californer -- Long Beach, CA - Iverson Jordan Smith is a senior G/SF for the Rancho Dominguez High School Varsity Basketball Team, emerging as a strong collegiate prospect in California's competitive high school basketball landscape. At 6'4", 195 lbs, Smith brings size, athleticism, and versatility to the game. Smith began his high school career at North Torrance High School, where he played three seasons at the JV and Varsity levels, posting averages of 17 PPG, 7 RPG, and 5 APG, including multiple standout performances with season highs of 26 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists. During his senior season, Smith transferred to Rancho Dominguez High School in Long Beach, California, where he joined a competitive program featuring Zion Leonard, brother of NBA champion Kawhi Leonard. Despite joining the team halfway through the season, Smith quickly adjusted, averaging 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, with a 21-point season high, and continued momentum heading into the final stretch of the year. A full-time student-athlete, Smith's immediate goal is to graduate high school and secure a Division I scholarship, with a five-year plan that includes 2–3 years of collegiate development followed by NBA Draft consideration. Schools currently on his radar include Cal State Northridge, Pepperdine University, and Cal State Sacramento.
