SAN LEANDRO, Calif. - Californer -- Beats 4 Hope non-profit is hosting a coat drive to collect clean, gently worn or new coats on Sunday, October 20th between 1p- 6p at the 21st Amendemnt Brewery at 2010 Williams St, San Leandro, CA 94577. Area residents are invited to make a difference in The Bay by donating to the coat drive and helping reach the goal of 1000 coats!
We are thrilled to announce our coat drive with Reboot Beats & Brews called "Jackets & Jams for One Warm Coat serving the Bay Area. We invite the community to join us in supporting this meaningful initiative. With 1 in 4 people living at or near the poverty line, winter weather protection has become more important than ever before. It is intended to distribute all the coats collected to the following non-profits: Hearts For Humanity, The Foundation for Hispanic Education, Ecumenical Hunger Program, Abode, and Love Thy Women Foundation. Our neighbors need our help this winter, said Beats 4 Hope Co-Founder Alex Mejia.

This family-friendly coat drive is a partnership between D1Dru, The 21st Amendment of San Leandro, and The Alameda County Firefighters Association Local 55. The day will be filled with DJs, tasty food, the Street Made SF car show, the Island Thunder California motorcycle show, fire trucks, a kids' zone, and great company, all while helping families in need in the Bay Area.
