Hosted by Swim Up Hill and supported by Reebok and ABG Group, the private gathering signals the next chapter in Jamal Hill's rise as both an athlete and ambassador for Los Angeles ahead of the 2028 Games.
INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Californer -- As the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games draw near, Paralympic medalist and 2025 ESPY nominee Jamal Hill is stepping into a defining moment, launching his $3 million Road to LA28 Sponsorship Campaign with an exclusive cocktail event at the iconic Yamashiro Hollywood.
Hosted by the Swim Up Hill Foundation with support from Reebok, ABG Group, and venue partner Eli, the evening will gather 75 to 100 corporate decision-makers, creative leaders, and Olympic-aligned partners. Timed just days before the ESPYs, the event celebrates Hill's rise as an athlete, advocate, and force for social change in Los Angeles and beyond.
"The road to LA28 isn't just a training plan—it's a movement," said Hill. "This cocktail party marks the next chapter. I'm honored to share it with the city that raised me and the partners who believe in what we're building."

Hill, often referred to as the "Duke of LA28," is no stranger to impact. Following a prior ESPY nomination for the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award, his journey blends elite athleticism with generational leadership. With more than 20,000 lives reached across three continents through the Swim Up Hill Foundation, Hill's long-term vision is to teach one million people to swim annually by 2028.
The campaign launch is more than a personal milestone; it's the next step in a larger Olympic legacy rooted in equity, education, and cultural trust. For Hill, building that legacy means transforming not only his own path to LA28 but also the access others have to the water.
Reebok and ABG Group, known for championing purpose-driven athletes, are key presenting partners for the evening and early supporters of the campaign.
"We're proud to support Jamal's leadership on and off the podium," said a representative from ABG Group. "The work he's doing redefines what athlete impact can look like."
