A heartfelt tribute featuring live performances of Elvis's greatest hits, gospel music, and reflections on his enduring legacy of the King of Rock and Roll
SANTA ANA, Calif. - Californer -- The sacredness of life and the enduring legacy of Elvis Presley will be honored during Elvis in Harmony: A Gospel & Classics Celebration on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024 at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana.in performances by Elvis tribute artists, gospel singers and choruses. Set in tranquil surroundings, the event will offer a day of reflection, music, and memories set against a backdrop that celebrates the preciousness of each day.
Though Elvis Presley left this world on August 16, 1977, his fame has only grown stronger. "His voice still echoes in the hearts of his fans, a timeless reminder that true icons never fade—they inspire, ignite, and live on forever," said Martin Anthony, Elvis tribute artist.
The Gospel Show will present a soulful tribute to Elvis's spiritual roots and his lifelong connection to his twin brother, Jesse, who died at birth. This performance, held in the Historic Mausoleum, will feature the harmonious voices of The Orange County Threshold Choir, known for their a cappella lullaby-like songs performed at the bedsides of those in tender stages of life along with rhythm and blues, jazz-soul singers Charlotte Pope and Tomi Wright. Pope has performed alongside renowned artists like jazz guitarist Doc Powell and R&B legend Thelma Houston. Wright, a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles and former professional rodeo barrel racer, has collaborated with numerous rhythm and blues artists and toured as a background singer for the late soul music pioneer Solomon Burke.
