As confidence in live AI translation grows, event organizers are moving toward AI tools that turn sessions into reusable multilingual content

LOS ALTOS, Calif. - Californer -- s AI Appreciation Day, July Sixteenth, approaches, new research from Wordly reveals that the next major shift in AI translation for event professionals moves beyond real-time interpretation to AI-powered content creation that extends the value of every session long after attendees leave.

Wordly's 2026 State of AI Translation and Captions report, conducted independently by Dimensional Research and commissioned by Wordly, surveyed 205 enterprise event leaders in the United States and United Kingdom and found that 66% now believe AI translation delivers higher-quality results than human interpretation, while 99% say translation and captions increase event ROI. With confidence in live AI translation established, 97% say they are looking to AI to create value beyond the live event.

"Instead of simply translating live presentations, AI is rapidly evolving into a content engine that generates multilingual transcripts, meeting notes, summaries and dubbed on-demand videos," said Wordly Founder & CEO Lakshman Rathnam. "The result is that a single keynote, breakout session or panel discussion can become a library of multilingual content that organizations can use to reach global audiences, repurpose educational sessions, fuel marketing campaigns and extend engagement well beyond the event itself."
