LOS ANGELES, Calif. — August 26, 2026 — Author and lifelong questioner Steve Ulrich has launched Synergence.net, a new platform dedicated to exploring how people think, communicate, and arrive at understanding together.
The launch follows the release of Ulrich's book, The Long View, the first volume in his Light Trilogy. Through personal reflection and thoughtful observation, the book examines how distance, time, and perspective can change not only what people see, but also what they are willing to understand.
"Synergence is not just the exchange of ideas, but the emergence of understanding," Ulrich said. "It does not ask people to agree. It asks whether we can remain present, curious, and honest long enough for something new to emerge between us."

That principle is the foundation of Synergence, which will bring together Ulrich's books, essays, Substack writing, and forthcoming conversations under one shared purpose: creating room for questions that are too often silenced by certainty.
The platform's guiding invitation—Question. Seek. Discover.—reflects Ulrich's belief that meaningful understanding rarely begins with an answer. It begins with the willingness to examine what we think we know, listen beyond our assumptions, and stay in the conversation.
"Information changes what we know," Ulrich said. "Understanding changes who we become."
The Long View
Published in hardcover and Kindle editions, The Long View is the first book in the Light Trilogy, followed by Perception and ReFlexion. Together, the books explore the progression from observing life, to seeing more clearly, to recognizing how understanding can change the person looking.
Rather than offering conclusions for readers to adopt, The Long View invites them to reconsider the experiences, beliefs, and perceptions that have shaped their own lives.
