STOCKTON, Calif. - Californer -- KeyPlex is pleased to announce a strategic global marketing and distribution agreement with California-based soil amendment manufacturer, Naiad. With more than four decades of proven performance in professional turf and agricultural management, Naiad is now positioned to expand its global reach.
Naiad's soil amendment solutions enhance water infiltration in compacted soils and improve overall moisture profiles—ensuring water availability for plant growth, development, and the evapotranspiration process. The product is suitable for agricultural fields, sports turf, and golf courses.
"Naiad has a long history of success in agriculture and on golf courses. Made in America, it aligns perfectly with the KeyPlex commitment to delivering high-quality products with strong value," said Gerald O'Connor, CEO of KeyPlex. "After extensive trials demonstrating superior performance in salinity reduction, moisture retention, and water distribution, Naiad proved to be in a class of its own. And in our industry—results count."

O'Connor added that KeyPlex will begin the U.S. rollout of Naiad in July 2025, with expansion to Central America, Mexico, and Europe planned for 2026.
Jason Howe, West Coast Sales Director for KeyPlex, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. "Water use and soil health are critical concerns for growers, especially in the hotter climates of California's Central Valley, Imperial Valley, and east to Yuma, Arizona. Naiad improves water mobility in the soil, supporting healthier roots, more resilient crops, and more efficient water usage."
Naiad has been manufactured in California since 1978. "Its unique formula allows water to move both laterally and vertically through the soil," Howe explained, "maximizing root development and optimizing water and nutrient absorption. For best results, apply every 2–4 weeks during the growing season."
