Other primary service areas include the neighborhoods of Bel Air, Westwood, West Los Angeles, Mar Vista, Rancho Park and the cities of Pacific Palisades and Santa Monica.
Dr. Farah Gozini, optometrist and owner of Good Eye Optometry, says, "Our newly redesigned website will help serve our patients better by giving them a greater understanding of their eyes and eye health. They can see our areas of expertise and understand how we are the best option for their eye care."
Dr. Gozini goes on to explain that their two main areas of expertise are treating Dry Eye Disease and Keratoconus.
Dry Eye Disease is quite prevalent as 2-50% of the population has it to some degree. It's age related, so as the population continues to age, we expect those numbers to increase. Although there is no known cure for it, we have been able to successfully manage it and relieve the pain associated with it in nearly all our patients.
Keratoconus, a disease where the cornea becomes weak and bulges outward like a cone, only occurs in 0.05% of the population. But those that do have it, need professional eye care services which we provide for them. NBA superstar, Steph Curry, suffers from keratoconus, so when properly treated, individuals can still see and perform at a very high level.

The bulging cornea causes eyesight problems as the eye loses its ability to focus light. Scleral contact lenses generally are one of the first treatment strategies to help manage the disease as they help refocus the images on the retina, provide additional support for the cornea, and trap fluid between the lens and the cornea providing lubrication. Scleral contacts are large, hard, oxygen permeable lenses that vault over the cornea and rest on the white part of the eye, called the sclera. They are measured and manufactured to exact specifications to fit each patient's individual eye. Our expertise and experience of treating and managing keratoconus has helped many patients throughout the years.
