Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach, CA - The City of Long Beach is gearing up for a night of music and fun as the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) prepares to host a free concert featuring Tijuana Dogs. The event, which will take place on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Marine Stadium, will mark the end of PRM's summer break recreation programming.
According to Mayor Rex Richardson, this concert is the perfect way to close out the summer break. "There's no better way to wrap up summer break than by coming together with family, friends and neighbors for a beautiful evening of energetic fun and live music," he said. "Long Beach has long been a hub of arts and music and we are thrilled to welcome Tijuana Dogs to celebrate that cultural spirit that makes Long Beach so special."
The concert will kick off at 6pm and run until 8pm at Marine Stadium located at 5255 E. Paoli Way. Attendees can expect high energy performances from Tijuana Dogs as they play a variety of genres including pop, classic rock, hip hop and chart-topping hits from the '70s to the early 2000s. Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and picnic dinners to enjoy on the lawn.
