Long Beach, CA ~ The City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) is excited to announce that they will be hosting job fairs in the upcoming months. These job fairs will provide information on current and upcoming part-time job openings for Recreation Program Leaders within the Community Recreation Services Bureau.
The first job fair will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Orizaba Park Community Center located at 1435 Orizaba Ave. The second fair will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Whaley Park Recreation Center located at 5620 E Atherton St. The final fair will be on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Doris Topsy Elvord Community Center at Houghton Park located at 6301 Myrtle Ave.

Attendees can expect to learn about a variety of PRM programs that are currently hiring or will soon start hiring within the Community Recreation Services Bureau. These programs include Day Camps, Youth Sports, Older Adults, Teens and Aquatics.
Interested applicants can visit the PRM Job Opportunities webpage to view information about available positions and complete an application. The job fairs also provide an opportunity for individuals to meet with PRM supervisors and staff and gain insight into what it's like to be a Long Beach Recreation Program Leader.
